Q. How do I enroll?
A. Easy 1st sign up for your FREE 15 Minute Spanish Lesson by fill out the online form with your name and when you would like to start classes and we will work out the details with you. Currently we offer classes from 8am to 7pm Guatemala Time (Central Standard Time). If you need classes outside of these hours let us know so we can work something out.
Q. How much do classes cost?
A. $10.00 per class hour, each class consists of 60 minutes of class time. Most student purchase a block of hours in one of our packages of hours.
Q. Do you offer a Guarantee?
A. Our Guarantee is simple...if you are not satisfied with your class we will schedule a new class with a different teacher FREE OF CHARGE.
Q. What equipment will I need or online classes?
A. A computer, a microphone, speakers (headset would be best), a webcam (optional but recommended), Communication program SKYPE and a desire to learn Spanish!
Q. Do I have to use a computer?
A. No, if you like classes can be given over your home, office or cellular phone. You may also switch from a computer class to a telephone class if you wish.
Q. Are your teachers professionals and well trained?
A. Yes, each teacher will have a minimum of 5 years of experience teaching Spanish as a 2nd language on a 1 on 1 basis in a professional language school. Most of our teachers have 8 to 10 years of experience.
Q. How much are the teachers paid?
A. Our teachers will always be paid a living wage. In most cases teachers will make 3 to 4 times their normal hourly wage. If they are working full time they will make 4 times the Guatemalan minimum wage.
Our part-time teachers are also well paid providing a high paying income while offering the flexibility to raise a family or attend University classes.
Your tuition payments directly help these teachers change their lives.
Q. Can I study more than 1 hour per day?
A. Yes, you can study for as many hours as you like within the limits of our operating hours.
Q. How do I pay?
A. You may pay your tuition by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, PayPal) and if necessary check or money order.
Q. Do you offer help getting my computer set up for classes?
A. Yes, before your first class we will call you to test your set up and be sure it is working properly. If needed we will call you and walk you through the process of installing and setting up your microphone, speakers and webcam. We have technicians at the ready to help.
Q.What happens if I miss a class?
A. You may reschedule your class 48 hours before class time with no penalty. If you reschedule 48 hours or less before your class or are not available at class time you will be charged for the class.
Q. What happens if the power or Internet goes out?
A. If for any reason we have a technical problem, power or Internet outage or if for some reason your teacher is not available for your class, we will reschedule your class at no charge.
